Poetry of William Blake

LONDON

I wander through each chartered street,
Near where the chartered Thames does flow,
A mark in every face I meet,
Marks of weakness, marks of woe.

In every cry of every man,
In every infant's cry of fear,
In every voice, in every ban,
The mind-forged manacles I hear:

How the chimney-sweeper's cry
Every blackening church appals,
And the hapless soldier's sigh
Runs in blood down palace-walls.

But most, through midnight streets I hear
How the youthful harlot's curse
Blasts the new-born infant's tear,
And blights with plagues the marriage hearse.

VENERABLE WIND

This venerable wind
is breezing on
and kissing me, with
sweetness,
moving on his wings
surfing down
the waves of
my visage
talking to me:
-I'm Pure Spirit of Beauty-

LANGUE D'AMOUR ----LAURIE ANDERSON

The heart itself is only a small vessel,
yet dragons are there, and lions,
there are poisonous beasts,
and all the treasures of evil,
there are rough and uneven roads,
there are precipes;
but there too is God and the angels,
life is there, and the Kingdom,
there too is light, and there the apostles
and heavenly cities,
and treasures of grace.
All things lie within that little space. --Makarios the Great-

LAURIE ANDERSON - HOW TO WRITE

Original poem in progress of :Serra Anna Laura

Let me sing your body song

Immersed
in YOUR deepest
sorrows nights and
freedom

stars diving under oceans

like veils of roses and

flying butterflies

waves on the voice of silence

ultrasounded hearts scans

heart cherry hearts bits

vital core pulsations

wholehearted dedication to

the month of May.

Then comes July
The hottest sun inside the head,
Oh! Blind humankind why dont'you
See the pure red bleeding drops, of the
Saints'skin

The tears of angels shouting mercy to the Heaven ,for
Our humanity carring on,
Our sins like a cross over
Backbones cracking under

So comes july, with a great fullmoon
With white pearls rolling down
Inside carillons memories
With empy subtle whispering tinkles.
